"Ready to Mourn" is a deeply personal project captured through a Polaroid triptych. It explores the emotional stages of preparing for grief, documented on the day the artist received news of a loved one's passing while traveling alone far from home.

The series captures intimate moments, reflecting how grief, like the ocean, ebbs and flows — sometimes calm, sometimes overwhelming. These images invite viewers to contemplate their own processes of mourning and emotional preparation during their most vulnerable times.
